Johnny Arlett creates art that is sensory-stimulating - spanning an array of visual works ranging from film and video to digital design and print. In every work, he strives to create an experience that pushes the imagination to reconsider its limits and means of expression by utilizing unconventional source material to achieve an intense and often abstract landscape of cognitive explosion.
In addition to visual art, Johnny has performed and toured as the bassist/vocalist for Pittsburgh noise-rock trio Microwaves from 2012 to 2021. An adept musician, he has been performing over the years solo as well as with local & international collaborators.
